In my opinion, weblog activity helps me to catch up the CC schedule though I am not like this system very much. By using weblog, I indeed push myself doing my RP and writing down my opinions and comments shared with my peers and partners.
It's nice that I have good partners to encourage me since preparing RP is really a harsh and suffering period. Besides,I repeat my junior CC again. Sometimes,I think RP took me a lot of time. However, after getting some useful information for my RP, I would feel extremely happy. My weblog activity perforemance was not so good in the beginning because I usually missed the schdule. But,after activity 2, I improved myself.Among the five activities,I like activity 4 (about RP aguement) the most. I make it clear to let my partners know what I've prepared for my RP. Thanks to Gwyneth and Hannah, they always provided me good suggestions and opinions for me. I hope I can be more stronger and tougher, not to give up easily,to go through every difficult times with courage.
About my RP topic, I think I am interested in the media phenomenon on females. After deciding my arguement for RP, I've collected many sources. And I was surprising to know the fact that some females are taking wrong attitude and actions to improve their outside beauty. Therefore, I like to analyze how media influence affact women and discuss the negative problems. OF course, I would also come up with some soulutions in the end of my RP.
Good luck to myself and all my classmates for RP. It's almost near the end.

The influence of media
The Power of Advertisings on Women’s Beauty Satisfaction
Arguemnet:
Commercials and advertisements always over-emphasize the higher standard of female’s body thinness, thus this has huge effects on women’s life and some women start to have strict standard of keeping slim body shape.

Internalizing the Impossible: Anorexic Outpatients' Experiences With Women's Beauty and Fashion Magazines
It's journal article related to my RP when I discuss the negative effects from media.
It will be helpful for my research.

So far, I found several books and journal articles from Library and Internet. It takes my time to organize my RP again.

However, there're a lot of online resources available.

Women’s values in today’s society are influenced by media, which is powerful and tremendous. Most women often become obsessed with becoming the same person they see on television, billboards, and in magazines. The reason is because every day more than ten programs shown on TV introduce and publicize the beauty, makeup products, weight-losing advertisements and ways of keeping slimness and fitness, etc. Therefore, in the sample of TV commercial, they show 87% of women in the commercial is young and beautiful and 90.7% of women have slender body shapes. The commercials, advertisements and magazines always over-emphasize perfect standard of female, thus this has huge effects on women’s life and some women start to have high standard of being flawless.

Conclusion

So far I have no idea what conclusion I want to make, but probably I'll change my topic again. Coz I'm still interested in linguistics. And my previous topic is "Is it contradictory to study English and Japanese at the same time?" This is a research for myself. HAHA
